DJ-ImageSlider Update brings the full Joomla 4 compatibility

We're happy to announce that the latest version of DJ-ImageSlider is now fully working with Joomla 4.

The latest version (v.4.2) of the popular free Joomla extension - DJ-ImageSlider - Joomla slideshow brings full support for Joomla 4.

That includes rewritten backend to use the new layouts and fields available in the latest Joomla release.

We rewrote the backend of our free Joomla slideshow extension to work with native Joomla 4 styles.

The latest version of DJ-ImageSlider 4.2 is available for free.

You can install it on fresh Joomla 3 and Joomla 4 instances or update existing installations to the latest version without losing any slides you have created. 

Installation on Joomla 4 and upgrade from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4 

Download the latest version, 4.2, and you can easily install it on Joomla 4.

You can also upgrade from Joomla 3.10 to Joomla 4 with DJ-ImageSlider installed, and all settings and slides you have already created will also migrate to the latest version. If you're doing the upgrade - remember to update DJ-ImageSlider to the latest 4.2 version first and then upgrade to Joomla 4.

Remember - upgrade to Joomla 4 is not a regular update - you HAVE to make a backup and store it in a safe place. First, be sure that all extensions and templates you use are compatible with Joomla 4 - you can learn more about the upgrading process from this article.
