The DJ-Classifieds Beta version with category conditions fields functionality was recently released. Now you can download it for tests.
It brings the conditional fields feature, which is very easy to maintain for DJ-Classifieds Joomla classified ads extension users.
DJ-Classifieds users have now the possibility during the custom field edit, setting the condition when this custom field will be displayed.
On the DJ-Extensions blog, you’ll find the blog post about this release, including a short tutorial explaining how to use the conditional fields feature.
The tutorial is based on an example of an action where the user when adding a new advertisement, selects an additional "used" field and therefore displays two additional fields that specify the state of the used item: "good" or "bad".
After correctly configuring the conditional fields, the effect (with "Good" and "Bad" options to select) will be visible to:
All active subscribers of DJ-Classifieds can download the beta version from the downloads section.
If you have any ideas regarding how we should develop the conditional fields, please let us know. Your tests and suggestions can help us to develop this DJ-Classifieds feature, which we would like to include in the further classified ads extension stable release.
You can report the feedback at our community forum.
We do not recommend installing this version on production websites. The best way to test it is by using the clean Joomla installation or making a copy of your website for testing.
